Some of the documented best practices include and are not limited to, Best Industry Practices for Aircraft Decommissioning (BIPAD) of International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Best Management of Used Aircraft Parts and Assemblies and for Recycling of Aircraft Materials (BMP) of Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA).
